Responsibilities Employee Relations: Provide day-to-day HR guidance to the team and collaborate with leadership to address employee concerns and foster a positive workplace culture. Talent Management: Assist in recruitment, employee engagement, career development, and training initiatives to attract and retain top talent. HR Administration: Maintain employee records, ensure compliance, prepare bi-weekly pay files, and review timecards to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies with managers. Recruitment and Onboarding: Write, post, screen candidates; oversee onboarding activities and welcome new hires to ensure a smooth start. Talent Acquisition Events: Represent the company at recruitment events, career fairs, open interviews, and college networking programs to build a strong talent pipeline. Employee Engagement and Recognition: Lead employee recognition programs and initiatives to boost morale and engagement. Benefits Administration: Support employee benefits programs, leave management, and help employees understand their options. HRIS and Data Management: Maintain data accuracy and integrity within HRIS and other HR systems. Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve employee relations issues; conduct thorough investigations when necessary. Compliance and Confidentiality: Ensure compliance with labor laws and policies while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Safety: Coordinate with Safety Manager on OSHA recordkeeping and safety initiatives. Qualifications Experience: 5–10 years in a Human Resources role; experience in the manufacturing industry is required. Education: 2-year associate degree minimum. Certifications: SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a valued asset. Professionalism: Demonstrates integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. Collaborative Approach: Ability to thrive in a team environment across all levels of the organization. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HR software/databases, particularly ADP and SAP SuccessFactors, is preferred.
