Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand client histories, motivations, and mental health challenges, subsequently formulating detailed and individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitate both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, addressing a wide range of topics including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma recovery, and relationship issues, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Engage in collaborative meetings with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care approaches that effectively support our clients’ overall mental health journeys.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to remain informed about emerging trends and best practices in mental health therapy.

• Offer constructive feedback and innovative ideas to enhance therapeutic services, program designs, and treatment delivery methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role as a Mental Health Counselor at Thrive Space involves working with adults, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds. With a focus on creating a non-judgmental space, you will assist clients in exploring their mental health concerns, developing coping strategies, and achieving personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• An active and valid mental health professional license in California (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT).
\n
• A minimum of three years of experience providing mental health support to individuals facing emotional and psychological challenges.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport easily and foster a trusting relationship with clients.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with using electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document therapy sessions and track client progress is advantageous.

• Demonstrated experience in facilitating group therapy sessions effectively.

• A training background in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• The salary range for this position spans from $78,000 to $115,000 annually, determined by the individual's caseload and experience.
