Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Digital Merchandising Specialist, a W2 contract opportunity.

Digital Merchandising Specialist (Part-Time!)

6-month W-2 Contract

Bolingbrook, IL - Hybrid
Hours: 20-30 hours per week.

Schedule: Onsite 6 days a month (Tues-Thurs every other week for corporate weeks)

This is a W-2 contract opportunity, and candidates must be able to work on our W-2 only. NO C2C or 1099.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Category Management team in executing digital activations. This role helps ensure every event launches on time, accurately, and with the polish that drives Marketplace growth.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare event materials and templates that support activation planning across the category management team
• Maintain accurate activation details across internal planning and tracking systems
• Track updates throughout the event lifecycle and ensure changes are reflected with cross-functional partners.
• Support timeline management by monitoring milestones and following up with internal and brand partners
• Conduct onsite quality reviews during activations and document findings
• Organize post-event documentation and learning to support recaps
• Manage administrative tasks required to support the ongoing growth of the company

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field preferred but not required.
• 0-2 years of experience in retail, e-commerce, or marketing: internship experience welcome
• Excellent organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard for data accuracy
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with project management tools is a plus
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills for working with internal partners and external brand contacts.
• Comfort learning new systems and processes quickly
• Passionate about beauty and e-commerce and excited to help brands succeed on the platform.
