This position is primarily based in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while remaining integrated within our outpatient office framework. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments geared towards understanding the emotional and psychological challenges faced by older adults.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans, considering the complexities of cognitive changes, physical health issues, and social dynamics prevalent in elderly patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches including individual counseling and family therapy to effectively manage geriatric psychiatric conditions.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare providers, including geriatric psychiatrists, to deliver integrated and holistic mental health solutions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.
