As a fully remote position, this role offers flexibility, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life effectively. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, documenting severity, frequency, and duration to inform treatment.

• Collaborate with clients to devise customized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and self-care strategies to empower them in their healing journey.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Engage in collaborative practices with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure integrated care for clients.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client sessions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Stay abreast of advancements in the treatment of mood disorders through professional development and case consultations.

• Actively promote awareness and de-stigmatization of mental health issues by advocating for clients within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary patient demographic consists of individuals grappling with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work with a diverse clientele, which may include adults, adolescents, and their families, allowing for a rich and varied therapeutic experience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in employing evidence-based treatment modalities specifically for mood disorders.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and collaborative care principles.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport with diverse client backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
