Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote but is part of a thriving outpatient psychiatric practice. Our therapists work within a structured framework that emphasizes collaboration and communication through virtual channels. While working from home, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule, although some adjustments may be necessary to accommodate patient appointments and their varied needs. Our regular work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological, emotional, and behavioral health, ensuring that treatment plans are based on evidenced insights.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, tailored to individual client needs.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to help patients build community connections and gain valuable insights into their mental health journeys.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other multidisciplinary team members to coordinate holistic care and ensure comprehensive support for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services for patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, offering immediate support and resources.

• Inform and educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and the resources available in the community.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in adherence with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW in the state of California.

• Proven ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and the capacity to maintain accurate, timely documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
