Role Description The Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in San Diego, CA. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of transportation insurance clients, including prospecting new business, conducting needs assessments, and preparing tailored coverage proposals. The Account Executive will maintain regular communication with clients, respond to inquiries, coordinate policy changes, and support renewals to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention. Daily activities include collaborating with internal underwriting and service teams, tracking sales activity, preparing presentations, and maintaining accurate records in CRM and agency management systems. The role also involves staying current on industry trends, carrier products, and regulatory requirements to provide informed guidance and identify opportunities for client growth. Qualifications Candidates should possess client relationship and account management skills, including consultative selling, follow-up, and long-term partnership building. Candidates should possess communication skills such as clear written and verbal communication, presentation abilities, and active listening. Candidates should possess organizational and administrative skills, including time management, attention to detail, and accurate record-keeping in CRM or agency systems. Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risk, interpret coverage options, and develop appropriate client solutions. Candidates should possess basic insurance and transportation industry knowledge or demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn these domains quickly. Relevant qualifications include prior experience in insurance sales or account management, a valid insurance producer license (or ability to obtain one), and proficiency with office productivity and collaboration tools. Additional beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, experience working with transportation or logistics clients, and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales or retention goals. #J-18808-Ljbffr
