Reference Data Product Senior Associate

This role offers the opportunity to work across teams, improve data quality, and contribute to critical finance processes.As a Reference Data Product Senior Associate in the Planning and Analysis team, you support enterprise reference data used for forecasting, reporting, and analytics. You partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure data is accurate, governed, and fit for purpose. You help deliver and operate reference data across key domains while driving data quality, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.Job ResponsibilitiesPartner with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements for reference data enhancements and issue resolutionTranslate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteriaLead and coordinate testing activities, including planning, execution, and defect managementPerform and oversee recurring operational processes such as data validation, exception review, and reportingMonitor and improve data quality across domains, including completeness, accuracy, and consistencyManage the lifecycle of data issues, including root-cause analysis and stakeholder communicationMaintain and enhance reference data documentation, including definitions, hierarchies, and mappingsPartner across finance, risk, operations, and technology teams to standardize data structures and usageSupport onboarding of new data consumers and updates to existing data structuresContribute to initiatives that enhance scalability, controls, and governance of data platformsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsBachelor’s degree in finance, business, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience3+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or data operationsStrong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder managementExperience supporting testing activities and managing defects in a structured delivery environmentProficiency in SQL for data analysis and troubleshootingStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teamsPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsExperience with reference or master data concepts, including taxonomies and data governanceFamiliarity with large-scale data platformsExperience with data quality frameworks and performance monitoringExperience working in agile environments using tools such as Jira or similar platforms JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
