You’ll gain valuable clinical experience on a medical step-down unit supporting 16-20 beds, specializing in complex cases such as sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, T2DM, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. Working with a patient ratio of 1:4, you’ll collaborate with talented multidisciplinary teams, encounter new workplace processes, and deepen your practice in a fast-paced progressive care environment. This role enables you to preview diverse leadership approaches and clinical best practices that strengthen your skills and enhance your resume.

Schedule/Hours:

• 36 or 48-hour contract options available

Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit settings
• ACLS and BLS certifications required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional care to patients on a medical step-down unit
