Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring high-quality care that leads to improved client outcomes.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy, to meet diverse client needs.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of a client's well-being.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to industry regulations.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training, keeping abreast of the latest advancements in mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on serving individuals and families who have had limited access to mental health services. You will encounter a diverse range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
