Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to establish individualized treatment plans tailored to clients’ unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to a diverse group of clients, utilizing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

• Document clinical progress and maintain accurate client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage with multidisciplinary teams, sharing insights and strategies for holistic client care.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, including workshops and training sessions, to stay informed about the latest trends and research within the field of mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with EcoHealth, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families dealing with various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role will involve not only providing therapeutic support but also advocating for access to mental health care for those who may face barriers in obtaining services.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of active and unrestricted LPC licensure in the state of New Jersey.

• Minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, preferably in an outpatient or community setting.

• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical guidelines in mental health practice.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with a wide range of clients.
