Work Environment\n

This position is predominantly remote, offering flexibility and convenience in meeting clients’ needs. However, the LCSW may occasionally be required to attend team meetings, training sessions, or community engagement activities in Austin, Texas. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for clients, focusing on their personal histories and presenting concerns to identify appropriate treatment pathways.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique mental health needs, ensuring active involvement and collaboration.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused Therapy, to effectively address a wide range of mental health challenges.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to promote emotional well-being, enhance coping strategies, and foster personal growth.

• Engage in crisis intervention and support, utilizing advanced de-escalation techniques to manage urgent situations and providing appropriate referrals when higher levels of care are required.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families to empower them with knowledge about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and enhance collaborative efforts among team members.

Qualifications\n
