Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status, including their emotional, cognitive, and behavioral functioning.

• Develop evidence-based therapeutic plans tailored to the individual needs and goals of each client, integrating appropriate treatment modalities.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, employing a range of techniques to assist clients in coping with mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client progress using electronic health record (EHR) systems while complying with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure comprehensive care and referrals as necessary.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, remaining calm and empathetic when addressing acute mental health issues.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including attending relevant workshops and training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a varied client population, representing diverse backgrounds, cultures, and mental health needs. Your caseload may include individuals facing challenges related to substance abuse, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, and eating disorders. This diversity will enrich your experience and provide opportunities for implementing culturally competent therapeutic interventions that resonate with clients.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, ideally in outpatient or community mental health settings.

• A solid understanding of mental health disorders, treatment protocols, and the utilization of evidence-based practices.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy in a virtual format.

Compensation and Benefits\n
