Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to devise personalized therapeutic interventions for clients.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic practices to diverse populations including groups, families, couples, and individuals.

• Employing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients, integrating insights from fellow healthcare professionals.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records while adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participating in workshops and continuing education to stay abreast of developments in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base that includes individuals facing a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• A valid and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• At least two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical environment.
