Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions aimed at addressing the emotional and relational challenges that clients face during rehabilitation.

• Perform thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ relational dynamics, emotional struggles, and rehabilitation goals, subsequently developing personalized treatment plans that weave together mental health and rehabilitation strategies.

• Implement family systems theory and therapeutic techniques to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving strategies among clients and their families.

• Collaborate seamlessly with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physical therapists and physicians, to create a holistic approach that aligns therapeutic goals with physical rehabilitation.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during challenging times in the rehabilitation process, ensuring clients have access to necessary resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines.

• Educate clients and their families on the emotional aspects of recovery, offering coping strategies and frameworks for strengthening family dynamics.

• Continuously engage in professional development, staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in the field of marriage and family therapy as well as rehabilitation.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona or the state in which you practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Waves for Good Psychotherapy Services offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
