Responsibilities

Responsible for providing support services to clients, management, and departmental contacts; assist in identifying new business opportunities, product lines, and architect business solutions; assure functional and technical solutions are delivered to meet business and technical requirements

Essential Job Functions

• Provide support to business development through enabling client requirements, implementing negotiation and sales strategies, and evaluating current program requirements
• Interface with prospective clients to evaluate and understand their program requirements from a functional perspective
• Enable client requirements and thoroughly understand application functionality for smooth transition of the application into the normal implementation process
• Provide support to Business Development in the development and implementation of specific sales and negotiation strategies to achieve new business as they pertain to requirements of MarketSource systems
• Assist in the design and specification for client applications by being the interface between the client and technical personnel
• Accompany sales staff on prospect site or field visits to assist in conducting presentations in areas of expertise, assisting to answer prospect's questions and perform pertinent demonstrations of systems or applications as needed
• Participate in the activities associated with a variety of departmental projects ensuring established timelines are met
• Prepare reports, material and documentation as requested
• Update project plan as necessary
• Provide project lead with status reports detailing status and timelines
• Proactively oversee the activities involved in quality resolution of problems related to area of responsibility
• Respond with a sense of urgency to problems escalated to employee's level
• Escalate to supervisor any situation outside the employee's control that could adversely impact the services being provided
• Place the highest priority on providing quality customer service by ensuring the unique needs of customers are met
• Ensure quality resolution and thorough and accurate documentation of customer issues
• Provide analysis and feedback to management staff and appropriate departments regarding recurring problems, recommending improvements aimed at reducing future occurrences of problems
• Participate in creating, administering, and continuously updating procedures for resolution of all related issues
• Establish and maintain a professional relationship with internal/external customers, team members, and department contacts.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SalesForce.com, internet research and web based presentation skills

Job Requirements

• Associate's degree in business, communications, computer science, MIS, or a related field required or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
• Minimum three years progressively responsible experience in business providing technical client support required.
• Minimum one year business administration and/or project coordination preferred.
• In office workdays are required; there will be day(s) designated for working remotely based on schedule assigned.
