Required Qualifications of the Hospital Biller 4+ years of recent revenue cycle experience required 2+ years of recent hospital UB04 billing experience required High school diploma or GED required Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen Responsibilities of the Hospital Biller Work and resolve day edits, registration edits, and NPI edits Handle insurance payer denials and rejections Handle fatal edits/scrubber edits Complete 160 claims per day minimum Work with electronic billingfor Medicaid, BCBS, and UHC claims Look up eligibility and claims on payer portals About the Company This local hospital system has been providing hope, healing, and the best health care for families since 1983.
