Legal Operations Manager

Build and maintain contract management, legal operations, and compliance systems
Own the legal technology stack, including CLM, e-billing, and matter management
Select, implement, and operate legal technology tools
Build and run contract intake and routing from request through signature
Handle creative and novel non-legal tasks end to end
Support legal research, regulatory monitoring, and special projects
Collaborate with finance, sales, product, engineering, HR, and security
Manage outside counsel and legal vendor relationships, including billing, budgets, and engagement terms
Standardize, automate, or eliminate repetitive work using technology and AI
Track legal spend, contract volume, and turnaround time, and report status
Take on increasing ownership over time
Report to the General Counsel
Participate in a paid work trial involving a real, scoped project

Requirements

• High achievement, strong organization, and high agency
• Ability to process large volumes of AI-generated content using sound judgment without shipping errors
• Ability to drive projects to completion independently
• Experience building or meaningfully improving a process
• Ability to turn vague requests into working processes
• Exceptional organization and ability to close loops without being chased
• Excellent written and verbal communication with sales, finance, and leadership
• Good judgment and discretion with confidential information
• Ability to learn and master new tools quickly
• Intellectual curiosity about legal, business, and technology decisions
• AI super user; regular use of AI is a hard requirement
• Law degree is not required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Employer cannot currently sponsor visas
• Background may be in legal operations, contracts, compliance, business operations, consulting, technology, professional services, or another complex-detail-oriented field
