Law Firm Senior Accountant | Palm Beach Gardens, FL


A well-established law firm in Palm Beach Gardens is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional with law firm experience who is looking to take on meaningful responsibility across accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.


The ideal candidate will have strong law firm accounting knowledge, experience working with Aderant Expert, and the ability to work closely with firm leadership while supporting day-to-day financial operations.


What You'll Do

• Manage and support day-to-day accounting functions for a multi-attorney law firm
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance
• Work with Aderant Expert for accounting, billing, and financial operations
• Support law firm billing and financial reporting processes
• Serve as a backup for payroll processing and related functions
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities
• Maintain accurate and confidential financial records
• Work closely with the Finance Manager and other firm leadership

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of law firm accounting or finance experience
• Prior experience working within a law firm environment is required
• Experience with law firm billing and financial operations
• Strong proficiency with Aderant Expert or similar legal accounting software; Aderant experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and law firm accounting practices
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills
• Payroll experience or ability to serve as a payroll backup
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience outside of personal injury law firms preferred

What You'll Get

• $70,000-$115,000, depending on experience
