Our team atmosphere encourages continuous learning, and you will have access to the latest techniques and tools in outpatient rehabilitation.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their physical health and identify their therapy needs.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific conditions and rehabilitation goals.Utilize a mix of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modality treatments to enhance physical recovery.Closely monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.Educate patients and their families on home exercise regimens and strategies to prevent injuries and promote well-being.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.Patient Population / Client FocusYour primary focus will be on orthopedic patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. This includes a variety of clientele, such as athletes, elderly patients with mobility concerns, and individuals recovering from musculoskeletal surgeries. Understanding their specific challenges and providing tailored support will be critical in helping them achieve their recovery goals.QualificationsValid and active physical therapy licensure in Florida.Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a master's degree is preferred.Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in orthopedic physical therapy, with a strong foundation in patient assessments and treatment implementation.Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate within a healthcare team.Demonstrated compassionate patient care and interpersonal abilities.Preferred ExperienceExperience in trigger point therapy and a background in sports medicine or rehabilitation of elderly patients is advantageous.Previous work in outpatient therapy settings is highly desirable.Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining comprehensive patient documentation.Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
