Work Environment

The role is primarily onsite, with therapists visiting patients in their homes across the Chantilly area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations of patients to identify physical limitations and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at maximizing their therapeutic outcomes.
• Implement appropriate therapeutic interventions, including exercises and manual therapy techniques, and educate patients and their families on treatment protocols.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results while adhering to best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, which may include physicians and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of services for all patients.
• Lead community outreach initiatives and wellness programs, enhancing awareness of physical health and preventive care in local neighborhoods.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a varied patient demographic, including older adults recovering from surgery, individuals rehabilitating from injuries, and those managing chronic conditions. Each patient requires a unique approach, necessitating a deep understanding of various therapeutic techniques and practices to cater to their specific needs.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are mandatory.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse patient populations and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing physical therapy in a clinical or home care setting.

Compensation and Benefits
