Staff Accountant

Are you an experienced Staff Accountant looking for a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic, family-oriented environment? Our CPA firm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Client Accounting Services (CAS) team. This role will focus on providing full-cycle accounting services to our non-profit clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle accounting for non-profit clients, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts
• Process tax filings and maintain supporting documentation
• Work directly with non-profit clients to address inquiries and provide guidance on accounting matters
• Collaborate with other team members to support client needs and deliver timely results
• Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and year-end closing processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, preferably with non-profit clients
• Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and non-profit accounting standards
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
