Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a growing accounting team. This role is heavily involved in the month-end close process, financial reporting, and general ledger management, while also supporting process improvements and cross-functional initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support and execute the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness Analyze financial statements and general ledger activity to identify discrepancies and trends Conduct variance analysis across key accounts and financial results Maintain and ensure integrity of the general ledger and financial data Assist with audit preparation and support both internal and external audit requests Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy Reporting & Analysis Prepare financial reports and account analyses Investigate variances and provide actionable insights to leadership Support budgeting and forecasting efforts as needed Provide ad hoc analysis to support business and accounting decisions Systems & Process Improvement Utilize accounting systems and ERP platforms to manage financial data and reporting Assist with system enhancements, reporting improvements, and data validation Leverage Excel and other tools to streamline reporting and reconciliations Collaborate with cross-functional teams across finance and operations Support and mentor junior team members as needed Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 3+ years of accounting experience Strong understanding of general ledger and month-end close processes Experience with ERP systems Advanced Excel skills #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
