Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, with 10+ years of applied experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams that design, build, and support large-scale platform or infrastructure services.
• Deep knowledge of Linux and UNIX operating systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Strong background in software development lifecycle practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and release management.
• Hands-on experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or equivalent.
• Experience implementing and supporting enterprise security, platform hardening, and operational risk controls.
• Knowledge of secure software development practices and software supply chain integrity principles.
• Experience managing technology roadmaps, delivery priorities, and cross-functional engineering initiatives.

• Lead engineers in designing, developing, deploying, and continually improving enterprise Linux operating system platforms and services.
• Set technical direction and engineering standards for secure operating system image development, lifecycle management, and platform automation.
• Promote modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure automation, testing, observability, and operational resilience.
• Work with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver secure-by-design platform capabilities aligned with enterprise security standards.
• Own engineering roadmaps, delivery priorities, and platform modernization initiatives for the technology domain.
• Lead automation for image creation, validation, release management, configuration management, and operational controls.
• Assess and communicate how operating system and security baseline changes affect business applications, infrastructure services, and partner integrations.
• Establish governance, controls, and measurable outcomes for software quality, reliability, maintainability, and operational performance.
• Advance software supply chain security through artifact integrity, automated validation, vulnerability management, traceability, and release governance.
• Collaborate with senior technology and business stakeholders to shape strategy, prioritize investments, and deliver scalable platform solutions.
• Develop and mentor engineering talent, fostering innovation, accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
