Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview

We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Snap-on AutoCrib team. The ideal candidate is a skilled multitasker that can perform accounts payable and administrative duties for the front office, and work across departments to process requests and support the sale of AutoCrib products and services.

Responsibilities

Role and Responsibilities

• Verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Research and respond to vendor inquiries
• Assist with month-end close activities
• Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
• Answer all incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner and route calls to the appropriate department or employee as necessary.
• Greet visitors.
• Assist Professional Services and Technical Support departments with the customer set-up and migration process.
• Perform various clerical duties including but not limited to mail processing, filing, and scanning/copying.
• Order office and kitchen supplies
• Schedule conference rooms and coordinate/order meals for in-house training and meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of the company and customer information at all times.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma
• Proven experience as an AP Clerk, Administrative Assistant, or similar role
• Punctual and dependable attendance
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills
• Tech-savvy and able to learn and use different systems (e.g., Epicor) and software (e.g., Freshdesk)
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized and skilled at multi-tasking
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members
