As an Employee Benefits Account Manager, you'll play a central role in helping clients navigate complex benefits programs while delivering exceptional service throughout the year. You'll manage a book of business, guide renewal strategies, support open enrollment efforts, and collaborate with producers, consultants, carriers, and internal teams to create positive outcomes for clients and their employees.

This role is ideal for a benefits professional who thrives on building trusted relationships, solving challenges proactively, and identifying opportunities to expand client value. You'll have the opportunity to influence client strategy while ensuring seamless day-to-day account management and service execution.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Serve as the primary advisor and day-to-day contact for assigned employee benefits clients, building long-term relationships and delivering responsive support.
• Lead open enrollment planning and execution, including employee education, presentations, communications, and ongoing policy administration.
• Partner with Producers, Benefit Consultants, carriers, and internal service teams to deliver tailored benefit solutions and exceptional client experiences.
• Analyze renewal options, develop contribution models, and conduct benchmarking.
• Coordinate RFP processes, carrier submissions, and internal workflows to ensure deadlines and service commitments are met.
• Identify cross-selling and growth opportunities within existing client accounts to strengthen relationships and expand service offerings.

What You BringDay One:

• Experience in employee benefits account management, consulting, or a related client service role.
• Strong knowledge of employee benefits administration, renewals, and carrier interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize competing deadlines effectively.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Professional presence appropriate for client-facing interactions.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Valuable Additions:

• 3+ years of employee benefits account management, consulting, or related experience.
• Life & Health insurance license.
• Experience with agency management or CRM platforms such as Zywave.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success identifying account growth and cross-selling opportunities.

Pay Range: Posted below*

*Any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with applicable state pay transparency laws, considering relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis. Roles may also be eligible for a supplemental compensation, such as performance-based bonus, commission, or equity. Specific eligibility will be discussed with Talent Acquisition team.

$55,000—$70,000 USD
