The position is remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a work-life balance. Sunshine Counseling operates seven days a week from 7 am to 10 pm, providing our therapists with the ability to set a schedule that works for them while producing optimal client outcomes. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies that are tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans aimed at promoting positive mental health.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and engage families and couples through therapeutic modalities designed to improve interpersonal dynamics.

• Employ a range of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused strategies, to enhance client engagement and treatment effectiveness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Virginia.
