Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy services, focusing on emotional and mental well-being through a range of therapeutic approaches.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' relational dynamics, treatment needs, and develop customized therapy plans aimed at fostering positive outcomes.

• Apply your understanding of family systems theory to navigate complex client relationships, assisting families in enhancing communication and resolving conflicts.

• Deliver immediate interventions and support during crisis situations, ensuring the safety and stability of clients and their families.

• Maintain accurate, confidential client documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Provide education and resources to clients regarding relationship dynamics, effective communication strategies, and coping mechanisms to improve their mental health.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other clinicians and healthcare providers, to deliver integrated and holistic care for clients.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts or the state you practice in.

• A master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with a solid understanding of therapeutic practices.

• Strong interpersonal skills, allowing for effective communication and rapport-building with clients and colleagues.

• Adherence to ethical and confidentiality standards in all counseling practices.
\n
• Ability to work independently while effectively contributing to a multidisciplinary team approach.

• Willingness to accommodate flexible working hours to meet clients’ scheduling needs.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working in outpatient therapy settings, with demonstrated competence in family and couples therapy.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or similar practices.

• Engagement in continuing education related to addiction counseling or other relevant fields is a plus.
