Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing our LCSW to effectively manage their professional responsibilities while maintaining a work-life balance. The position entails collaborating virtually with school personnel, families, and other healthcare providers to implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) effectively. While interactions will primarily take place online, you will be expected to conduct assessments and evaluations in educational settings when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify the psychological and developmental needs of infants and toddlers.

• Collaborate with families to establish and implement effective Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) tailored to each child’s unique challenges and strengths.

• Monitor and document the progress of children, adjusting interventions as needed based on outcomes and feedback from the multi-disciplinary team.

• Engage in coaching and consulting with families to empower them with skills and strategies that promote positive developmental outcomes for their children.

• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations governing early intervention services.
\n
• Develop strong, trusting relationships with children and families, creating a supportive and nurturing environment.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment Principles to inform your clinical interventions.

• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss case progress and collaborate on service delivery strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of our LCSW position is infants and toddlers diagnosed with developmental delays or disabilities. Working closely with families, you will facilitate access to appropriate resources and interventions to support their children's growth. You will also engage with teachers, special education staff, and additional service providers within school settings to ensure comprehensive support for each child.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Social Work or a doctoral degree in a related field.

• A valid Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) recognized by the Department of Public Health.

• Current driver's license is required for travel to school facilities for assessments.

• A minimum of one year of experience in early intervention services for children.
\n
• Strong commitment to utilizing Natural Learning Environment Practices.

• Bilingual capabilities, especially in Spanish, are a plus but not mandatory.

• Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills are essential.

Preferred Experience\n

We highly value candidates with prior experience in educational settings or specialized training in developmental disorders. Familiarity with the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) process and knowledge of community resources available for families will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
