Description: Shift times are from 07:00 to 15:30, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends. Weekend call is required during standby rotation on Saturday and Sunday from 15:00 to 07:00. Travelers must have 2 years of experience and first-time travelers are not accepted. Weekend rotation is required. Call requirements include standby rotation on the weekends. This position does not require floating between units. Must be prepared to work in an acute care hospital setting. The facility has a total of 266 staffed beds. Daily census is approximately 11 patients. The age demographic for the patient population includes neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Position involves providing ultrasound services within both inpatient and outpatient settings. Procedures include general ultrasound exams and interventional procedures such as thoracentesis and biopsies. The primary patient population is primarily adult and geriatric. An LA fire card within the last 30 days is required prior to start. Two references covering one year within the last three years are required during the compliance process and prior to the start of the assignment. Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Communication devices required for the assignment will be provided at no cost. All travelers are expected to meet compliance requirements before commencing their assignment.
