Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish a positive, trusting rapport with patients through empathetic communication and active listening during both virtual and in-person sessions.

• Diagnose and assess a variety of mental and emotional disorders using standardized diagnostic criteria and clinical judgment, tailoring treatment approaches to each unique situation.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of patient needs, goals, and circumstances.
\n
• Conduct regular counseling sessions, providing targeted therapy for individuals, couples, and families to address issues such as relationship dynamics, trauma, and mental health disorders.
\n
• Perform ongoing assessments to monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment interventions and goals as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and refer clients to specialists, such as psychiatrists or substance abuse counselors, when specialized care is required.
\n
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions to engage with peers, share insights, and refine therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals and families dealing with a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your focus will be on empowering clients to develop healthier coping strategies and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.
\n
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
\n
• Key knowledge of evidence-based practices specifically for treating mental health disorders, including family dynamics and relationship issues.
\n
• Strong therapeutic skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients, fostering a culture of healing and growth.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, essential for effective patient interaction and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is highly desirable, particularly in dealing with co-occurring disorders.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing therapy in individual, couples, and family settings.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms, as well as experience in an integrated healthcare model, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 , based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits provided include:
