Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate clients' emotional, psychological, and social needs, culminating in accurate clinical diagnoses. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, ensuring each client receives personalized support. Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering safe environments for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients facing acute mental health crises, ensuring safety and appropriate follow-up care. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in client records, documenting treatment progress and updates in adherence to legal and ethical standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, working alongside psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care. Educate clients and their support networks about mental health issues, treatment methodologies, and community resources to enhance their understanding and recovery journey. Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and peer consultation to stay abreast of the latest therapeutic practices and trends. Patient Population / Client Focus Your client portfolio will encompass a variety of demographics, including individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds. You will work with clients experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. By employing a person-centered approach, you will empower clients to articulate their needs and collaborate with them on their therapeutic journey. Qualifications Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) is mandatory. A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is required. Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment and diagnostic evaluation. A minimum of two years’ experience in mental health counseling or a related position is essential. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster trust and rapport with clients. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. A firm commitment to maintaining ethical and professional standards in all aspects of counseling practice. Preferred Experience Experience in a clinical outpatient setting is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual mental health care delivery is an advantage. Prior experience with crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care approaches is highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
