Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing standardized instruments to evaluate the psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs of patients.

• Implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other relevant practices.

• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational groups to foster community support and address common mental health issues such as coping with anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Provide crisis intervention and emergency support, employing quick assessment and responsive techniques to ensure patient safety and well-being.

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across disciplines to develop comprehensive care strategies and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with ethical guidelines.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending training sessions and case consultations to stay abreast of advancements in the mental health field.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment resources available in the local community to enhance support systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist at St. Paul Behavioral Health Center, you will work with individuals across the lifespan, from children to adults, ensuring that interventions are culturally appropriate and personally relevant. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
