Litigation Attorney

A highly respected and established law firm in the Midwest is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its Bloomfield Hills, Michigan office. This role will focus on handling construction law matters, particularly representing design professionals and contractors. The position will also involve OSHA-related matters and general commercial litigation. Ideal candidates will have: 3–7 years of experience in commercial litigation, ideally with a focus on construction law Experience handling all aspects of litigation, including: Drafting pleadings and motions Managing discovery Taking and defending depositions Arguing motions in court Excellent legal research and brief-writing skills Strong client management abilities and a client‑first approach Effective communication and interpersonal skills JD from an ABA‑accredited law school Active membership in the State Bar of Michigan A team‑oriented mindset and responsiveness to both colleagues and clients Comfort with learning and using new legal tech platforms This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and adaptable attorney looking to work on complex cases in a collaborative environment.
