HR Specialist (Performance Management/Employee & Labor Relations)

As a HR Specialist (Performance Management/Employee & Labor Relations), you will:

Prepare and revise procedures, plans, memorandums, letters, recommendations or corrective action needed.
Arrange for interviews with employees and operating officials to investigate employee and labor relations problems. Analyze compilations of factual data, reach conclusions and recommend appropriate administrative action. Explain and justify recommendations in terms of the benefits to be derived from certain administrative actions. Coordinate the most difficult and sensitive issues with BEP Legal Staff, when appropriate.
Represent management in third party hearings, negotiability determinations, alternative dispute resolutions, impasse disputes, unfair labor practice complaints and unit determinations and clarification as well as any disciplinary and adverse proceedings.
Process and maintain status of grievances filed under the various negotiated grievance procedures. Provide management advisory services in the informal and formal resolution of the grievances. Assure that both management and union representatives are in compliance with the provisions of the negotiated grievance procedures.
