Job Description As a Security Officer - Corporate Lobby Area Patrol , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.85 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and building personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout building common areas, tenant corridors, entrances, loading areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess a New York State Security Guard License. Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
