Job Description As a Security Officer Commercial Facility Armed Patrol Risk Mitigation in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic retail location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This armed post requires an Armed Guard Card/License, Concealed Carry Weapons Permit, and Law Enforcement Officer License. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $45.35 - $46.35 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail areas, stockrooms, loading zones, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access. Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious persons, packages, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and coordinating with emergency responders when appropriate. Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site requirements. Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit. Possess a valid armed guard card or license. Possess a valid law enforcement officer license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
