You will work closely with the Clinical Director and Executive Director to ensure the maintenance of a supportive therapeutic environment for clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' counseling needs, using standardized assessment tools and DSM criteria for diagnosing substance use disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including the substance abuse counseling components, and coordinate with multidisciplinary treatment teams.
\n
• Schedule and facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, promoting communication and recovery among clients and their support networks.
\n
• Document all sessions, assessments, and treatment updates in the client's clinical records to maintain comprehensive and accurate case documentation.
\n
• Manage a caseload efficiently, balancing case management duties with the necessity for clinical charting and follow-ups.
\n
• Collaborate with external referral sources, such as legal and educational institutions, to ensure cohesive support for clients.
\n
• Facilitate acute interventions as needed for crisis-oriented issues, employing a patient-centered approach with a focus on de-escalation and stabilization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you work with primarily deal with co-occurring disorders, including substance use disorders and accompanying mental health challenges. You will provide critical support to individuals at various stages of recovery, focusing on personalized care plans that address their unique circumstances, emotional struggles, and recovery goals.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. A master's degree in Social Work is preferred.

• Demonstrated proficiency in providing individual and group therapy for substance use disorders.

• Strong understanding of therapeutic boundaries, cultural competency, and ethical standards in clinical practice.

• Excellent organizational, time-management, and self-motivation skills.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a community health setting or addiction treatment facility.

• Knowledge of DSM and ASAM criteria, particularly in substance abuse evaluation and treatment planning.

• Experience with crisis intervention and multi-disciplinary team collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a supportive salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
