Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure, clearly communicating each phase with empathy and assurance
• Work closely with radiologists and referring medical staff to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Meticulously document all procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• CCAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Excellent technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and optimal patient positioning
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
