Work Environment

The setting for this position is primarily onsite within patients' homes in Goshen and surrounding areas. You will benefit from a structured Monday to Friday schedule, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance while managing a reasonable caseload of 6–8 patients per day. Every day presents new challenges where you will use your clinical skills to create individualized treatment plans specific to the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for each patient to assess their physical condition, mobility issues, and any discomfort or pain.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on the patient evaluations and best practice methodologies.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and prescribe exercise-based interventions tailored to each patient's goals and capabilities.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention techniques, exercises to maintain their condition, and lifestyle adjustments to promote long-term health.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and ongoing progress notes in compliance with state regulations and clinic policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate care and maximize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily work with patients in outpatient orthopedic settings, including individuals recovering from surgery, those managing chronic pain conditions, and individuals looking to improve their physical function. Qualifications

• Must hold a valid New York Physical Therapist license.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; advanced degrees such as a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy are preferred.
• Demonstrable clinical skills required to assess and treat a diverse patient population.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is required.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 110,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
