This role offers a fully remote work environment, allowing for flexibility in your scheduling. You can choose to work full-time, with over 30 hours per week, or take advantage of part-time opportunities with a minimum of 5 hours per week. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual counseling sessions via video chat, ensuring an ethical and compassionate approach to each client interaction.

• Perform ongoing assessments to tailor individualized treatment plans based on clients’ needs and progress.

• Assist clients in developing essential coping strategies, effective problem-solving techniques, and improved communication skills.

• Engage in regular supervision and professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

• Maintain clear and concise documentation with minimal paperwork required to ensure efficient service delivery and compliance with legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with adults who are stable and presenting with low-acuity mental health concerns. This population may include individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Your capacity to build rapport and trust will be vital in creating a therapeutic relationship that fosters healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current state license as one of the following: LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD.

• Independent licensure with no required supervision.

• No disciplinary actions on licensure.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency with digital communication tools.

• A stable Wi-Fi connection to facilitate uninterrupted telehealth sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing therapy in a telehealth format.

Compensation and Benefits\n

My Light Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, based on the number of hours worked.
