Position Overview
The Care Project is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our collaborative team at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Paradise Valley, Nevada. This role emphasizes the crucial function of enhancing patients' mobility, promoting wellness, and optimizing rehabilitation outcomes. As a pivotal member of our healthcare team, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing personalized therapy programs that significantly impact our clients' recovery journeys.
About the Organization
At The Care Project, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional outpatient orthopedic care. Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with cutting-edge technology, providing an ideal environment for therapy and recovery. We have a small team consisting of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all dedicated to improving the quality of life for our clients. We primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, ensuring a focus on personalized and attentive care.
Work Environment
The Care Project operates from a fully equipped, modern rehabilitation facility located in the heart of Paradise Valley. Our onsite work environment is collaborative and supportive, designed to facilitate teamwork and effective communication among staff. Physical Therapists work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with no weekend hours, allowing for a balanced work-life commitment. In this full-time position, you will have access to some of the latest therapeutic devices to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and establish treatment objectives tailored to each individual.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions that promote recovery, improve range of motion, and enhance overall mobility.
- Manage a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring that every individual receives personalized attention and care.
- Develop and modify customized treatment plans based on patients' progress and feedback, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and the importance of adhering to treatment plans to foster self-management and recovery.
- Document all treatment sessions, maintaining accurate records to monitor progress and facilitate communication with other healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and PTAs, to create an integrated care approach that optimizes patient recovery.
- Inspire and motivate patients to adhere to therapy, encouraging lifestyle changes that improve strength, flexibility, and overall health.
- Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust plans as necessary to meet patient needs effectively.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The primary patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical patients, and those with chronic pain or mobility challenges. Our practice focuses on delivering care that minimizes reliance on medication, fostering a proactive and therapeutic approach to rehabilitation. The Care Project is committed to serving a diverse range of clients, all of whom benefit from personalized attention and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; preference will be given to candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
- Must hold a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Nevada.
- No history of disciplinary actions or board complaints on your license.
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and in designing and implementing individualized exercise programs.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for effective clinical documentation.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
- Demonstrated experience with treatment modalities that facilitate recovery and promote patient engagement.
- Capability to implement cost-effective therapies aimed at improving patient mobility and functional outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits
This full-time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
