Key Responsibilities\n

Your role will involve a variety of duties aimed at enhancing the mental well-being of clients:

• Conduct personalized one-on-one counseling sessions using video conferencing technology, ensuring to operate under ethical and best practice guidelines.

• Facilitate open discussions with clients to explore their emotions, experiences, and mental health challenges, fostering self-awareness and personal growth.

• Act as a dedicated client advocate, helping them to set realistic goals for their therapy journey and achieving better mental health outcomes.

• Evaluate clients’ mental conditions, developing and executing tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based and solution-focused methodologies based on your clinical expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve are pre-screened for stability and low acuity, enabling you to engage effectively with individuals seeking support for various mental health concerns. This structured client base allows you to focus on building strong therapeutic alliances, employing clinical techniques that promote lasting change and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
\n
• Possession of an independent license, valid in New Jersey, including but not limited to a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Please note that limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.

• Demonstrated ability to evaluate clients professionally and make informed recommendations for treatment planning.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic approach to client interactions.

• Strong computer literacy to navigate telehealth platforms and maintain accurate client records.

Preferred Experience\n
