HR Onboarding Specialist (CR/512569) New York, New York Salary: USD35 - USD45 per hour A health services network in New York City is looking to add a new HR Specialist to support onboarding and new-hire orientation. About the Opportunity: Shift: Day Schedule: Monday through Thursday during training; Monday through Friday after training Hours: 9am to 5pm Setting: In-person Responsibilities: Prepare and send offer letters and welcome communications Coordinate background checks, employment physicals, references, license verifications, and other pre-hire requirements Track new-hire clearance status and elevate onboarding issues as needed Send clearance communications and HRIS registration invitations Coordinate with IT, Credentialing, and other departments to ensure employees are ready for Day 1 Support temporary and contract staff onboarding and maintain complete electronic personnel files Qualifications: At least 2 years of relevant human resources experience Hands-on experience with onboarding and new-hire processing Experience managing pre-employment clearances and onboarding documentation Experience with HRIS or ATS platforms, preferably Paycom Proficiency with Microsoft Office Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Desired Skills: Experience supporting onboarding in an organization with 250 or more employees Experience coordinating new-hire orientation Yes, I am currently eligible to work (work permit/visa/citizenship) in the country to which I am applying.
