Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, utilizing evidence-based methods to evaluate their needs, personal history, presenting concerns, and risk factors.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with students and families, focusing on mental health issues, emotional well-being, and integration into the school culture.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to promote personal growth and effective coping strategies.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for students during emergencies, using de-escalation techniques and referring for advanced care as necessary.

• Educate students and families about mental health conditions and available resources, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.

• Document all relevant assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes meticulously to meet legal and ethical standards while ensuring continuity of care.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a coordinated approach to student mental health care.

• Participate in school mental health meetings and staff development sessions to improve service delivery and promote teamwork.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
