The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will operate in a supportive remote work environment, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while serving a diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing tools such as clinical interviews and standardized screening instruments.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans, focusing on their unique goals, preferences, and strengths, and integrating evidence-based practices into the planning process.

• Implement therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in one-on-one sessions, guiding clients through skill-building exercises and cognitive restructuring techniques.

• Provide education to clients and their families about mood disorders, potential treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance their understanding and engagement in the treatment process.

• Monitor and document clients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to respond to changes in their condition or circumstances.

• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care that addresses both psychological and medical needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
