Work Environment

As an onsite physical therapist, you will be working in our contemporary outpatient office. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and tools, which include advanced therapeutic equipment and a dedicated space for exercises and rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess their physical capabilities and identify specific treatment needs based on orthopedic conditions.
• Develop and implement evidence-based, personalized therapy plans aimed at improving clients' strength, mobility, and functional independence.
• Monitor patient progress through regular assessments and documentation, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic techniques; such as manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and modalities to treat physical impairments.
• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care is maintained.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise programs and lifestyle modifications to support their recovery and enhance physical health.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals with orthopedic issues, ranging from sports injuries to post-operative recovery. You will be instrumental in helping patients regain their functional abilities, thereby improving their overall quality of life. The diverse nature of our clientele provides an enriching experience, as you will engage with patients of all ages, including athletes, working adults, and older adults requiring specialized care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with patients and their families.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, preferably within an outpatient or skilled nursing facility.
• Experience working directly with the geriatric population or understanding age-related physical challenges is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
