Overview
Registered Nurse - ER, Hanford, CA | Start date 08/10/2026 | 13 weeks | $1,821-$1,975 per week | 36 guaranteed hours per week | Day shift (6:30 AM–7:00 PM), 3x12-hour shifts | Short Term Acute Care Hospital travel assignment. This ER nursing role requires delivering coordinated care to patients with a range of emergency conditions, with collaboration across disciplines in a fast-paced, acute setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, quality nursing care to an assigned group of ER patients using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments, perform timely interventions, and document care accurately.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing staff at multiple levels; collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other care team members.
- Participate in discharge planning, patient and family education, and ensure continuity of care across transitions.
- Identify outcomes, prioritize safety, and advocate for patients’ physical and emotional needs in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in California (or eligible) and in good standing
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience: At least two years of recent ER or acute care nursing experience
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR; ACLS (American Heart Association or ARC) required; PALS (American Heart Association or ARC) required; NRP certification required
- Specialty requirements: Current state RN license; ability to work in an ER/acute care environment; commitment to patient safety and high-quality care
