Sous Chef

Overview Mexican Bar Company is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to start training in our Plano location and rotate to our new Allen location opening October this year. This working, hands-on position demands work ethic, self-motivation and leadership skills. A salary increase and bonus will be established once settled in Allen. Plano location: 2405 Dallas Pkwy, Plano, TX 75093; Allen location: 790 Waverly Drive, Allen, TX 75013. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, hard-working, career oriented and ready to become a leader. Compensation Starting salary $60k-$65k, paid vacation and personal days, 401(k) and more. Spanish-English speaking is a must. Mexican cuisine background is required; French culinary background is a bonus. Responsibilities Help train and develop kitchen staff to company standards. Help maintain and even elevate organization, inventory and cost analysis. Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standards.
