Work Environment

The work setting is an onsite rehabilitation center equipped with the latest tools and technologies designed for optimal patient care. The environment fosters collaboration among a team of experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), creating a supportive atmosphere aimed at providing exceptional care. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs through comprehensive evaluations to determine their objectives and requirements.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that utilize a broad range of therapeutic techniques and methodologies.
• Manage patient caseloads efficiently, typically one patient per hour, providing focused, personalized treatment sessions.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices to alleviate pain, enhance motion, and restore function.
• Develop fitness and wellness programs tailored to the specific goals of individual patients.
• Document patient interactions and treatment protocols thoroughly to ensure continuity of care and compliance with best practices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and facilitate comprehensive care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to maximize effectiveness and ensure successful recovery.
• Promote health and wellness principles among patients, encouraging lifestyle changes that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily caters to patients recovering from orthopedic injuries or conditions. This includes a wide age range, from active adults to seniors, who have sustained injuries from sports, accidents, or degenerative conditions. Our focus lies not only on rehabilitation but also on providing education and motivation to empower individuals in taking an active role in their recovery.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) required.
• Current California state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Outstanding communication skills and a clear commitment to patient education and advocacy.
• A clean professional record, free of any disciplinary or board actions.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in employing manual therapy techniques and developing effective exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly platforms like WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
